Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here. You are joining me at a very exciting time—the beginning. Fine, my debut novel about one sister’s search for answers to why her sister went missing six years earlier, will be released on November 17, 2020. I hope you can join me on this exciting journey.
Like all beginnings, this moment is filled with so much anticipation. For so long, Katie and Anna Williams have been a part of my life. Like an anxious mother, I’ve been nurturing them and preparing them to make it in the world on their own. Now that it’s time to set them free, there’s no way to know what will happen next. It’s unbelievably exciting, but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit it was also very scary.
However, I’m a firm believer in being brave. As Nelson Mandela once said, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.” If you’re not scared, there’s no challenge to overcome, no occasion to rise up and meet. That is why I’m choosing to embrace the excitement of this journey, and not the fear.
Fine has a special place in my heart, and I hope it will find its way into yours. At the very least, I hope it makes you think a little differently about your life and the lives of those around you. I hope it will make you look for answers inside yourself, question what it means to be fine, and inspire you to rethink how we all go about the art of living.
With love and gratitude,
